Why me

Underfloor heating, done properly

Underfloor heating goes in once and gets covered over, so it has to be laid right and tested before the floor goes down.

I've laid it in extensions, hallways and old houses with stone walls.

You ring me and I do the job. I've been in the trade since I was 16 and have over 40 years in plumbing and heating. I'm fully insured, RGI registered and SEAI registered.

How it works is simple. Ring or WhatsApp me and tell me what is going on: what the water, the boiler or the radiators are doing, and where you are. A photo on WhatsApp helps. I come out, find the fault and tell you what it needs before the work starts. Then I do the job myself and leave it working.

I cover Cork City, the suburbs and the towns around the city, with a 24 hour service. Ring 089 240 6141 or send a WhatsApp with a photo of the problem and where you are.

Before you call

Underfloor heating: questions people ask

Can underfloor heating go into an old house?

Yes, when the floors are up. I've laid it in old houses as well as new extensions.

When does it need to go in?

Before the screed. The pipes go down on the insulation, get tested, then the floor is poured.

Where do the pipes go back to?

Every loop runs back to the manifold, which feeds the rooms one by one.

Can I have it in just one room?

Yes. It is laid room by room.

What areas do you cover?

Cork City, the suburbs and the towns around the city. Ring or WhatsApp me on 089 240 6141.

Are you insured and registered?

Yes. I'm fully insured, RGI registered and SEAI registered, with over 40 years in plumbing and heating.
